1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the SteelView website and engaging with our products and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use our services. SteelView reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
2. Products & Services Description
SteelView designs and manufactures premium custom French steel doors and windows for residential and commercial applications. Our products are handcrafted using high-quality materials and precision engineering. Product specifications, finishes, and design options are described on our website and in our detailed consultations. All custom orders are subject to design approval and material availability.
3. Custom Orders & Deposits
Custom orders require an initial design consultation and proposal. A deposit of fifty percent (50%) is required to initiate production of custom orders. The remaining balance is due upon completion of manufacturing and prior to installation scheduling. Deposits are non-refundable after production has commenced. Lead times for custom orders typically range from 8 to 12 weeks, depending on complexity and material sourcing.
4. Installation Terms
Installation services are performed by SteelView-authorized technicians or approved installation partners. The customer is responsible for ensuring proper structural preparation and accessibility of the installation site. Installation does not include modifications to existing structures beyond standard framing adjustments. Additional structural work required due to site conditions is billed separately. All installations must comply with local building codes and regulations.
5. Warranty
SteelView provides a Lifetime Warranty on all craftsmanship and materials defects for our products. This warranty covers structural integrity, welding, and manufacturing defects under normal use conditions. The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, environmental exposure beyond design specifications, accidental damage, modifications made by non-authorized parties, or wear resulting from lack of maintenance. Warranty claims must be reported within thirty (30) days of discovery. Warranty remedies are limited to repair or replacement at SteelView's discretion.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SteelView shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or services, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service in question. This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Intellectual Property & Installation Photography
All design concepts, technical specifications, and architectural elements created by SteelView remain our intellectual property. Customers grant SteelView the right to photograph completed installations for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes, with notification provided. Customer details may be anonymized in public displays. Any use of SteelView designs or intellectual property for commercial purposes requires written permission.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.
